Basic Cookie Dough

  Ingredients
        Scale:

      - 4½ cup Flour (all-purpose)
- 3 stick Butter
- 1 cup Sugar
- 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
- ¼ teaspoon Salt
Instructions
- In large bowl beat butter, sugar, egg, vanilla and salt.
- Gradually add flour.
- Beat until well combined.
- Refrigerate dough for 1 hour.
- Separate into 4 pieces.
- Roll out 1 piece to 1/4" thickness. Cut shapes.
- Place shapes on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes.

Tips
Always preheat your oven and check for doneness a few minutes before the suggested baking time.
