Basic Cookie Dough

Ingredients

Scale: 1x
  • cup Flour (all-purpose)
  • 3 stick Butter
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  1. In large bowl beat butter, sugar, egg, vanilla and salt.
  2. Gradually add flour.
  3. Beat until well combined.
  4. Refrigerate dough for 1 hour.
  5. Separate into 4 pieces.
  6. Roll out 1 piece to 1/4" thickness. Cut shapes.
  7. Place shapes on ungreased cookie sheet.
  8. Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes.

Tips

Always preheat your oven and check for doneness a few minutes before the suggested baking time.
