Buttery Cod Florentine

Ingredients

Scale: 1x
  • 1 pound Cod fillets (thawed and drained)
  • 10 ounce Spinach (frozen, thawed and drained)
  • 4 ounce Mushrooms (fresh, chopped)
  • ½ cup Cheddar cheese (mild, shredded)
  • cup Butter (unsalted)
  • 1 teaspoon Dill weed
  • 1 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • ½ teaspoon Hot sauce

Instructions

  1. Melt butter and add seasonings. Pour this on top of cheese.
  2. Bake at 350º for around 30 minutes.
  3. For a nice variation, sprinkle crumbled bacon on top before baking.

Tips

Always preheat your oven and check for doneness a few minutes before the suggested baking time.
