Cajun Cream Sauce

Ingredients

- 1 teaspoon Butter
- 1 tablespoon Shallot (minced)
- 1½ teaspoon Garlic (minced)
- ½ teaspoon Cayenne pepper
- ½ cup Tabasco
- 2 cup Heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- Melt butter and add shallots, garlic and cayenne. Saute for 2 minutes.
- Add the hot sauce, increase heat and simmer until reduced by half.
- Add cream, bring to boil and simmer until reduced by 1/3.
- Cook until thick.
- Serve with crab cakes.
Tips
Make sure all dairy ingredients are well-chilled for best results.
