Caramel Topping/Dipping Sauce

- ½ cup Whipping cream
- 1 stick Butter (unsalted)
- 1 cup Sugar
Instructions
- Add sugar to saucepan and cook over medium high heat until melted...about 5 minutes.
- Cook until sugar is amber in color, about another minute.
- Add butter, salt and vanilla and whisk to combine.
- Add cream and stir carefully. This mixture will bubble up and splatter so be careful!
Tips
Make sure all dairy ingredients are well-chilled for best results.
