Chocolate Malted Whopper Drops

Ingredients

Scale: 1x
  • cup Flour (all-purpose)
  • 1 cup Malted milk powder
  • ¼ cup Cocoa powder (unsweetened Dutch)
  • teaspoon Baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • 11 tablespoon Butter (softened)
  • cup Sugar
  • 2 large Egg
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup Milk
  • 2 cup Whopper malted milk balls
  • 6 ounce Chocolate (bitter-sweet)

Instructions

  1. Beat together butter and sugar until smooth. About 3 minutes.
  2. Add eggs one at a time beating after each for about 1 minute.
  3. Add vanilla. The mixture may look curdled at this point.
  4. The batter will look more like frosting at this point.
  5. Mix in the chopped Whoppers and chocolate.
  6. Drop 1 rounded tablespoon of dough onto baking sheets covered with parchment paper.
  7. Leave about 2 inches of space between balls.
  8. Bake for 11 - 13 minutes. The cookies will be puffed and set, but slightly soft in the middle.
  9. Let cool for 2 minutes and then remove with spatula.
  10. Makes about 30 cookies.

Tips

Always preheat your oven and check for doneness a few minutes before the suggested baking time.
