- 1 bottle Pickled jalapeno peppers, sliced , drained (Standard size jar (e.g., 12-16 oz))
- 2 cups Mild cheddar cheese, shredded
- 5 whole Eggs, large , beaten
- Paprika (for sprinkling on top)
- Flavored crackers or Fritos (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 275°F (135°C).
- Grease a 10-inch pie plate.
- Arrange the drained sliced jalapenos evenly over the bottom of the prepared pie plate.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the jalapeno layer.
- Pour the beaten eggs slowly and evenly over the cheese layer, ensuring the surface is covered.
- Sprinkle the top lightly with paprika.
- Bake for 45 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is lightly golden.
- Remove from oven and let cool in the pie plate for at least 10 minutes.
- Cut the cooled pie into small 1-inch squares or wedges.
