Green Beans

Ingredients

Scale: 1x
  • 6 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon beef bouillon
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon dry mustard

Instructions

  1. Drain and rinse green beans
  2. Chop bacon into ¼ in. pieces and brown in large stock pot. Do not drain out bacon fat.
  3. Once browned, add the onions and cook for a couple of minutes.
  4. Add the green beans.
  5. Add enough fresh water to cover about ½ the beans.
  6. Bring to simmer and allow the water to cook off until about 1-2 inches remains.
  7. Don’t stir too much as the beans will break apart.
