Honey Onion Sauce

Serves 8

Ingredients

Scale: 1x
  • ¼ cup Oil
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic (finely minced)
  • 3 large Onion
  • ¾ cup Beef stock
  • teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • tablespoon Honey
  • 4 teaspoon Cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Add the garlic & onions, saute', stir frequently and cook for 20 mins.
  2. Add the stock, raise the heat to high and cook for approx. 7 mins until the liquid is reduced by 1/2.
  3. Add the mustard, honey, & vinegar, reduce heat to med-low and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Remove from heat & allow to sit for 10-15 minutes. Serve warm but not hot.
  5. This is a popular sauce in the Ukraine and is great on all meats.
