Jalapeno Cornbread

Ingredients

- 1 cup Corn meal (yellow)
- 1 cup Flour
- 2 teaspoon Baking powder
- ½ teaspoon Baking soda
- 2 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 1 cup Cheese (Monteray Jack)
- ¼ cup Butter (melted)
Instructions
- 2 Egg(s), beaten
- 5-10 Jalapeno peppers, diced
- Saute Japs in olive oil.
- Add melted butter to mixture.
- Add sauteed Japs.
- Bake at 400 for 25 minutes.
Tips
Always preheat your oven and check for doneness a few minutes before the suggested baking time.
