Kevi's Baked Beans

Serves 8

Ingredients

Scale: 1x
  • 2 pound Navy beans
  • ½ pound Bacon
  • 1 small Onion (minced)
  • 1 can Tomato soup
  • 1 can Water
  • 1 cup Brown sugar (light)
  • ¼ cup Molasses
  • 1 teaspoon Dry mustard
  • 2 tablespoon Vinegar

Instructions

  1. Kevi's Baked Beans
  2. Soak beans over night.
  3. Drain and boil in fresh water until tender.
  4. Cook Bacon. Set aside.
  5. Add beans and let stand overnight.
  6. Bake at 300 for 3 hours. Stir once or twice. Add bacon to top and bake another 30 min.

Tips

Always preheat your oven and check for doneness a few minutes before the suggested baking time.
