Mexican Hot Sauce

Serves 8

Ingredients

Scale: 1x
  • 1 large Onion (chopped)
  • 2 clove Garlic (crushed)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
  • ½ teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Coriander powder
  • ¼ teaspoon Pepper
  • 3 cup Tomato (fresh, chopped)
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 tablespoon Tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoon Red wine (dry)

Instructions

  1. Add spices and mix thoroughly.
  2. Add tomatoes, water, paste and wine.
  3. Simmer for minimum 30 minutes, but several hours is even better.
