Mexican Red Sauce

Ingredients

- 1½ tablespoon Oil
- ½ tablespoon Flour
- ⅛ cup Chili powder
- 1 cup Chicken stock
- 6 ounce Tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon Oregano (dried)
- 1 teaspoon Cumin powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
Instructions
- Heat oil and add flour. Stir until smooth and cook for at least 1 minute.
- Add chili powder and cook for another 30 seconds.
- Boil and then reduce heat to simmer and cook for 15 minutes.
- This sauce will thicken and smooth.
