Pea Soup

Serves 8

Ingredients

Scale: 1x
  • 2 cup Split peas
  • 1 pound Ham hocks (smoked)
  • 1 medium Onion (chopped)
  • 2 medium stalks Celery (minced)
  • 1 sprig Parsely (fresh)
  • ΒΌ teaspoon Pepper
  • 2 medium Carrot (diced)

Instructions

  1. Add ham, onion, celery, parsley and pepper.
  2. Cover and simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
  3. Add carrots. Simmer for 30 minutes or until constistency suits you.
  4. Add salt and pepper to taste.
