Peanut Butter Drizzles

Ingredients

  • 2 cup Flour
  • 2 cup Oats (quick-cooking)
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 2 stick Butter (softened)
  • 1 cup Sugar (granulated)
  • 1 cup Brown sugar (light)
  • 2 large Egg
  • cup Peanut butter (creamy)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 12 ounce Chocolate (semi-sweet)
  • 1 cup Confectioner's sugar
  • ½ cup Peanut butter (creamy)
  • ¼ cup Whipping cream or milk

Instructions

  1. Beat together butter and both sugars on medium speed until fluffy.
  2. Add eggs, peanut butter and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Stir in flour mixture 1 cup at a time.
  4. Press dough into a 15" x 10" jelly roll pan and bake until firm, about 20-25 minutes.
  5. Meanwhile, stir together confectioners sugar, peanut butter and cream.
  6. Remove cookie base from oven and sprinkle with chocolate chips spreading as they melt.
  7. Drizzle the sugar/peanut butter mixture on top of this.
  8. Let cool and then cut into 1 1/2" x 1" bars.

Tips

Make sure all dairy ingredients are well-chilled for best results. Always preheat your oven and check for doneness a few minutes before the suggested baking time.
