Pie Crust

Ingredients

Scale: 1x
  • 3 tablespoon Vinegar
  • 1 pound Lard
  • 6 cup Flour (sifted)

Instructions

  1. 1 Egg(s), beaten
  2. Put the vinegar in a 1 cup measure and fill remainder with water.
  3. Beat egg in small bowl and add the water and vinegar mixture.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, cut the lard into the flour.
  5. Add the liquid and mix together.
  6. The less you handle the dough the better.
  7. When everything is completely combined, place in refrigerator until ready to use.
  8. This will make 2 pie crusts for use in any 9 inch pie recipe.
