Rhubarb Pie

Ingredients

Scale: 1x
  • 1 pound Rhubarb (diced)
  • 1 tablespoon Flour
  • ½ cup Sugar (granulated)
  • ½ stick Butter
  • ½ cup Brown sugar
  • ½ cup Corn flakes (crushed)
  • ½ cup Flour

Instructions

  1. Dice rhubarb and combine with 1 TBL flour and 1/2 cup white sugar.
  2. Mix well and place in pie shell.
  3. Melt the butter and combine with brown sugar, flour and cornflakes.
  4. Mix well and place on top of rhubarb filling and pat down.
  5. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes. Turn off oven and leave pie in for another hour.

Tips

Always preheat your oven and check for doneness a few minutes before the suggested baking time.
