Sweet and Sour Meatloaf

Ingredients

Scale: 1x
  • pound Ground beef
  • 1 cup Bread crumbs (fine)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Pepper
  • 2 large Egg
  • 1 tablespoon Onion (minced)
  • 15 ounce Tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Vinegar
  • ½ cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Yellow mustard

Instructions

  1. Add half of the tomato sauce, reserving the other half.
  2. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes.
  3. Bring to boil and simmer for a few minutes.
  4. Remove meatloaf and drain off any fat. Cut into serving size slices.
  5. Pour sauce over top of slices and bake for an additional 10 minutes.

Tips

Always preheat your oven and check for doneness a few minutes before the suggested baking time.
