Sweet Cornbread

Ingredients

- 2 cup Flour
- ¾ cup Sugar
- 1 cup Corn meal (yellow)
- ½ teaspoon Baking soda
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Butter
- 1 cup Half and Half
- 3 teaspoon Baking powder
Instructions
- 2 Egg(s), beaten
- Scald butter and cream.
- Fold in egg.
- Grease and flour 10" cast iron skillet OR a 9 x 13 baking pan OR a muffin tin.
- Bake at 350º for 30 minutes.
- This will make about 16 muffins and will take 5-10 minutes LESS time to cook.
Tips
