Swiss Chalet Chicken Sauce

Ingredients

Scale: 1x
  • 3 cup Water
  • ¼ cup Tomato juice
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • teaspoon Paprika
  • ¾ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Basil (dried)
  • ¼ teaspoon Parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon Chicken seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon Thyme (dried)
  • ¼ teaspoon Ginger
  • ¼ teaspoon Dry mustard
  • ¼ teaspoon Onion powder
  • ¾ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoon Lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon Water
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In sauce pan add everythiong up to and incuding Tabasco sauce.
  2. Bring to boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove bay leaf and add lemon juice.
  4. Mix cornstarch and water.
  5. Add to mixture and cook, stirring constantly, about 2 minutes until sauce thickens.
  6. Whisk in oil.
