Szechuan Shrimp

Ingredients

- 1 pound Shrimp
- ½ cup Scalllion (minced)
- ½ cup Bamboo shoots
- 3 clove Garlic (crushed)
- ¼ teaspoon Ginger
- 1 teaspoon Hot sauce
- ½ cup Cocktail sauce
- 2 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Soy sauce (dark)
- 1½ teaspoon Sesame oil
- 3 tablespoon Sherry (dry)
- 3 tablespoon Water
- 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
Instructions
- Mix scallions, bamboo, ginger, garlic and hot sauce together and set aside.
- Combine ketchup, sugar, sherry, soy and sesame oil togehter. Whisk until mixed thoroughly.
- Mix cornstarch and water together.
- Heat oil in wok and cook shrimp.
- Remove and clean out wok.
- Heat 2 Tablespoons of oil and add the veggies.
- Stir fry and then add sauce and shrimp.
- Add the cornstarch and water mixture and cook until it thickens.
