Tim's Jerk Paste

Serves 8

Ingredients

Scale: 1x
  • 1 large Onion (chopped)
  • 4 clove Garlic (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon Allspice
  • ½ teaspoon Thyme
  • ¼ teaspoon Cloves
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ cup Rum (dark)
  • 3 tablespoon Lime juice

Instructions

  1. Turn heat up and add salt, rum and lime juice.
  2. Simmer until liquid is absorbed.
  3. Rub paste on meat and let sit overnight.
