Traditional Chex Mix

Ingredients

Scale: 1x
  • 1 stick Butter
  • 3 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoon Seasoned salt
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder

Instructions

  1. Traditional Chex Mix
  2. 1 lb. peanuts
  3. Combine cereals in roasting pan or 1/2 hotel pan.
  4. Pour liquid mixture over cereal mixture and mix together.
  5. Bake at 250ยบ for 45 minutes stirring every 15 minutes.
  6. Spread to cool and store in airtight container.
  7. 14 oz. Wheat Chex = 6 cups, 12 oz. Rice and Corn Chex = 9 cups each
  8. Large batch would use 1 box of each cereal
  9. 2 TB seasoned salt
  10. 1 TB garlic powder
  11. 1 TB onion powder.

Tips

Always preheat your oven and check for doneness a few minutes before the suggested baking time.
