Zesty Rubbed Loins

Ingredients

Scale: 1x
  • 2 teaspoon Black peppercorns
  • 2 teaspoon Mustard seed
  • 2 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon Brown sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  • ½ cup Ketchup
  • 2 tablespoon Steak sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Molasses
  • 2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper (coarsely ground)

Instructions

  1. Trim steaks and apply the rub pressing into both sides of the meat.
  2. Then, spritz or brush with some olive oil, both sides.
  3. Let sit for 30 minutes at room temp.
  4. Grill over high heat by searing each side 5 minutes.
  5. Turn heat to indirect medium and cook until desired doneness.
  6. To make the sauce, whisk everything together and add water until you reach your desired consistency.
  7. Simmer for 5 minutes. Serve warm with the steaks.
